ナタリー・ポートマンやジェニファー・ガーナーなどハリウッドスターたちが、子どもたちのために絵本の読み聞かせを行う「Save with stories」と題された、新型コロナウイルス関連のチャリティー活動を始めた。

寄付金は貧困に苦しむ子供たちのためのNGO団体「Save The Children」と「No Kid Hungry」に贈られるという。COVID-19の影響で、当初アメリカではほぼ全ての学校が休校となっており、給食がないために栄養失調になってしまう子どもや教材が手に入らないため学習の機会を失った子どもたちは全米でのべ3000万人いると言われている。

「Save with stories」では、これまでに100以上のストーリーが読まれ、9万人の子供たちが支援を受けてきた。
